It's hard to believe that the Weekly Current has been up and running for a Year! I focused on past, current and environmental events around our world in a fun creative way. It's the 110th anniversary of the great quake that struck San Francisco at 5:13am on April 19th, 1906. Every year it is commemorated at a fire hydrant in the Mission District, which is painted gold. Learn about this tradition HERE!  On April 11th, James Lovell, John Swigert and Fred Haise aboard Apollo 13 took off for the Moon! Unfortunately they were unable to complete the mission.
