This film was SCARY! And we love Steven Spielberg for creating such a fishy-foe. But let's talk about the real threat! And that's humans to sharks. Sadly numbers have declined due to over fishing and the demand for their fins. If you don't know what shark finning is check it out HERE!

Companies are changing for the better! Thank you to Ikea, Royal Caribbean and Sea World for banning plastic straws and bags from your facilities. Let's hope your strong stance will influence others (shareholders) of other large companies to follow suit. Learn about these changes (which can't come soon enough!) HERE!
Habits are hard to break but this one will help us all, especially our wonderful sea creatures, who are the ones hurting from our plastic overload. Remember if you can't use it refuse it! Let's reject straws and plastic bags! We have more power by just saying no. China has stopped purchasing our recyclables unless we start "cleaning" up our act! They give us a 0.5 % buffer of impurities...Otherwise our garbage stays here. Keep it clean and learn about our predicament in San Francisco, HERE!
As we push to be a zero waste city by 2020 (that's two years!) let's be more cognizant about what we purchase. If you can't reuse it, refuse it! That means avoid one use plastics! Try it. See if you can take a tally of what you pick up at the grocery store. You might be throwing away more than you think. The bottom line, this stuff we are throwing out is building up. After all it's quite easy! Say, "No Thanks" to the straw in your drink, to the lids for your take out coffee's. A little bit every day, makes a huge difference! Even the Royals are jumping on the Green bandwagon. Check it out HERE!
Looks like Shrimp n' Lobster put together two very different bouquets!
A sprig of Myrtle in the bouquet became a royal tradition when Queen Victoria married Prince Albert on February 10, 1840. Before picking any flowers make sure it's okay to do so in the first place. Otherwise you could get into very big trouble! For a botanical dream visit Kew gardens! You can explore the largest compilation of vegetation in the world, nearing 8.5 million species. Now that's a bouquet! Visit kew HERE! Isn't it fun being a tourist? Shrimp n' Lobster are having a blast exploring London! They will join thousands as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot.
While visiting London, put ole Windsor Castle on the list! It has a rich history dating back to 1070. Who know's perhaps you'll bump into the Queen! It is still her residence.
Also look out for St. George Chapel on the premise. It will make history once again as American, Meghan Markle marries Prince Harry on Saturday May 19th. What is the tradition of wedding bells? Learn about it HERE!
You don't have to be on an expedition to take part in an adventure. Anything out of your comfort zone can be exciting and a little uneasy. That's a good thing! Its all apart of growth! After all we, don't want to get stuck wearing the same ole shoes we wore when were were kids, now do we? Ouch! Mental growth, physical growth...you get the idea. Enjoy the adventure!
