Stinky black treated sewage from a processing plant was released into the Niagara River on Saturday, July 29th, in the height of tour season. Although it seemed shocking, it was all perfectly legal, plus the discharge never exceeded toxic limits issued by the Water Board. The only thing that was abnormal was that it was black, and we could see it. Normally it has zero color. (Makes you wonder if your really smelling a fart or if treated sewage is being pumped out at your local watering hole. Yikes!) Learn about what takes place at Niagara HERE!
Little did Shrimp n' Lobster know, they took part in a sewage dumping while on a tour of Niagara Falls.
